Born in Naples in 1950, where he still lives and works today, Alfredo Grimaldi is an artist renowned for his unmistakable naive style and for his bright and joyful colors.
Worthy heir of the Master Athos Faccincani, he is one of the most loved and appreciated artists by the public, collectors and critics (the art critic Mario Monteverde called him "The Master of Color" and "The Poet of the Brush").
Lover of beautiful Mediterranean landscapes, he represents them on canvas in a fairytale and poetic key, giving them a unique perspective layout.
Each of his paintings is characterized by a shining blue sky, by typical Mediterranean houses and by the lush colors of the vegetation.
His works are exhibited in many public and private collections, Italian and international.
In particular, Grimaldi exhibited for the first time at the young age of ten and since then has staged numerous personal exhibitions and participated in over 100 collective exhibitions.
